Key Research Terminology


 
Task 1
After taking notes on your tutors explination of key terminologies, complete the following handout:

What is a Primary source? A primary source is information you collect yourself so you’re the first to obtain such knowledge.
Example
Examples are such as Questionnaires, location recce and survey
 

What are Qualitative results?   These are results you get that you don’t put in a graph this is more of a why do you like short film what do you like about it more questions

Example:
 

What are Quantative results?
Quantitive results are results that fit into a graph to help organise things as its easier to use numbers
Example: graphs, percentages and pie charts
 

What is Market Research? A Market research is searching the internet or other market information’s for a certain product
Example: You can use the info if you had a product like a car to see what the people like and what the best style for the money and help improve
 

What is a Secondary source? A secondary source of information is information you get from someone or something else
Example:
Things can be webpages, other opinions, etc.
